Rafi's Spice Box is the idiot proof way to ensure that your home-made curry is a hit. The delicious aroma of spices that hits you as you enter really does make you feel quite heady.I defy anyone to leave empty handed.
The staff are always friendly and on hand to answer any culinary queries you may have.
Well worth a visit....or three.

A big hit with my 3 children (ages ranging from 4-12). Real 'hands on' history that inspires their imaginations. Favourites include the Victorian schoolroom, the cookery workshops and the Castle Prison which really brings to life how people lived in the past.

A special mention to the Sweet Shop with it's delicious aroma and scrummy white mice sweets. Always a treat.

We went to the Bay Horse for lunch on Saturday 23rd July. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. The pub is managed by a Greek couple so the Greek dishes were the most authentic I have ever tasted outside Greece. There are lots of other dishes to choose from as well, plus daily specials. The manager was especially welcoming and very friendly, she really liked that we had come as a big family group, baby and all!

The pub is very easy to get to and park - Marygate car park just round the corner.

I love GO Outdoors. I'm a proper outward bound nut and they have everything I could ever dream of needing! The members card costs 5 quid a year but means that you save a fortune on gear :) friendly and helpful staff, comfortable surroundings, huge choice, great prices!

Came with a school outing last year. Was impressed with the quality of the accommodation. Great location... 2 minutes walk from the Racecourse, quick bus ride into the City Centre and good food and staff! Hope to visit again sometime!
