Dringhouses (PC) Scout Group

Dringhouses Scout Group has been providing fun, enriching activities for young people in the Dringhouses area of York for more than four decades. Our term-time activity programme includes regular activity nights at the Dringhouses Church Hall, as well as other planned activities such as hikes, camps, trips and more.

While Dringhouses Scout Group has an historic and traditional link to Dringhouses Church, our members come from diverse backgrounds and we welcome anyone who wants to get involved.

For anyone less familiar with Scouting, here is a breakdown of what ages are served by which section:

• 6-8: Beavers
• 8-10: Cubs
• 10-14: Scouts
• 14-18: Explorers
• 18-25: Network

Dringhouses Scout Group is part of the York Ebor Scout District. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are catered for directly by the Group, while Explorers and Network are managed at a District and County level.
